God’s power in practice

Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.

Ephesians 3:20

Having finished his prayer for the Ephesians, Paul attempts to impress on them the indescribable depth of Christ’s wonderful love for His church, though Paul confessed that it can never be fully understood. He ends with praise and adoration unto God. This he does by revealing to the saints the amazing ability of God.

In these times, now more than ever, it’s expedient to believe, proclaim and rely on the ability of God. Yes there may be challenges in your life, business, family or country, but all things ALWAYS EASY for God. For nothing is too difficult for Him to do. We can lose hope in a friend, relative or our nation’s ability to help you but we could never doubt God’s ability.

Unless and until we learn to believe in God’s ability, our great dreams and visions can never be accomplished. God is so great and He is able to do impossibilities.

He continues that His ability does things “exceedingly abundantly above”. You have no idea how able and willing our God is to help you. He is far more willing to help you than you are ready to receive from Him. He is able to do more than we can ever ask for or imagine. The reality of God’s own purposes for our lives, factored in our dreams, goals, vision, and prayer together with a renewed and sanctified mind are the seeds for growth and a great harvest. And these seeds are planted in the “fertile soil of God”. They will always comes out fruitful.

Then we must allow God’s ability to fully dominate our visions, prayer and dreams to such an extent that we dwell in the realm of “with God all things are possible”.

Trust Him with all your life, goals, and dreams; and be ready to receive guidance and directions from His word through the power that works within you to live a fulfilling life. Do you believe that God will always exceed or surpass your wildest dreams and imagination? Yes, He wills it, and He can, and He does according to His power that works within you.

Acknowledge that power in you through constant fellowship and partnership; and depend on it for greater provisions. This is why you can’t enjoy life to the fullest without the Holy Spirit. Don’t limit what God can do in your life with your imagination. “According to His power that works in you”. That’s the limitation. It lies with you, not God. His power is limitless but its level of operation lies in the extent you allow it to work in you.

Rely on His ability. Pray that Holy Spirit will continually enlighten you about God’s awesome abilities . The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
